A small, multi‑disciplinary practice for Autism, ADHD and mental health assessments - for children and adults. Harley Street, Ware, or online.
Assessments delivered with care, sensitivity and a commitment to understanding each individual's needs.
RDA Autism & ADHD Practice provides specialist, high‑quality and individualised assessments for children and adults seeking a private Autism or ADHD diagnosis. Our clinicians work collaboratively, with a strong commitment to neuro‑inclusion at every stage of the process.
We value each individual's personal journey, adopting a trauma‑focused approach. Currently, our work is primarily assessment‑led, with optional follow‑ups. Depending on your needs, this may include Child and Young People's Psychiatry, a Speech and Language assessment, or a Psychology assessment with optional follow‑up consultations.
RDA Autism & ADHD Practice is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and follows guidelines set out by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. No GP referral is required to book in.
Currently, across health services Autism and ADHD assessments frequently involve waits of one to three years or more. For many individuals and families, that gap is the difference between coping and feeling isolated with no guidance. RDA Autism & ADHD Practice was established to support those who cannot afford to wait, who require timely, compassionate care, providing thorough, multidisciplinary assessments without the need for a GP referral, without long queues. We value a thoughtful, multidisciplinary assessment not a quick, single‑assessor model. Our approach brings together the right clinicians to build a fuller, more meaningful understanding of each person.

Compassionate, trauma‑informed and considered care. Every clinician who joins us shares one commitment: to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
Our team is led by a GMC‑registered Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and an HCPC‑registered Chartered Counselling Psychologist, supported by a Consultant Paediatrician, Occupational Therapist, Highly Specialist Speech Therapist, Clinical Psychologists, Nurses and many more clinicians.
We are guided by clinical experience, evidence‑based research, and lived expertise. Our pathways evolve continuously to stay aligned with emerging evidence and the feedback we receive.
Research demonstrates neurodivergent people such as Autistic adults experience trauma in both the traditional understanding of trauma and in broader, cumulative ways. These experiences differ from non‑neurodivergent people. We hold space and recognise these experiences with care and understanding.
Our process is delivered with care. We emphasise a thoughtful, thorough and reflective approach that is responsive to each person's contextual circumstances.
Secure your appointment online (for example Child Autism Assessment, Child ADHD Assessment, Adult ADHD Assessment), complete your forms, and get ready for your assessment.
Attend your assessment, in person or from the comfort of your own home in the UK. Feel free to bring someone if this would help; some bring a friend or parent to support the process.
Depending on your assessment, a multi‑disciplinary team meeting reviews your information. You'll then be invited to a follow‑up or straight to your Feedback meeting to share your outcome and personalised recommendations.
Next steps vary for each person. For some this is the natural end of their journey, and a diagnostic report is shared with you and your GP. Others may choose to book a consultation or join one of our upcoming workshops.
Each assessment involves a robust process: gathering background information, reports from different sources, and a diagnostic assessment. We offer some concessionary clinics at a reduced rate - please call us for more information.
